The Great Gatsby
By far one of my favorite books. I enjoyed this book because of the era it was written in. I wish I could have been able to experience the 1920's, and this book was able to give me a taste of what it was like. It also influences me to strive for greatness just like Jay Gatsby did, even though he came from nothing.

This is probably the craziest book I have ever read. Its the most controversial book i've ever read too. This book is all about sex. Its a autobiography about Tucker Max and all the women he's been with, all one hundred and something of them. Ill admit the book is hilarious, and really makes you dislike men, but hey props to him and writing all his stories.

Hey Sergio-
ReplyDeleteI definitely read the Great Gatsby in high school and enjoyed this book. The 1920s was definitely an interesting period of time. It would have been cool to experience that whole era.
I have never read Like Water for Chocolate, but it sounds interesting. I'm always up for a good romantic drama. Plus, I enjoy water and love to eat chocolate, so what could be better eh?
Jeez. This book sounds intense, yet really intriguing. I could imagine this book making someone think men are monsters, but could really open someones eyes knowing that there are people like this actually out there.
Your third book looks interesting, especially because it made the NYT bestseller list. I've had Like Water for Chocolate for a few years, but haven't read it. Now I will.
ReplyDeleteLol @ your last book choice. Anyways, The Great Gatsby was so good! I agree. I think the movie is better though. Interesting choices, indeed! lol
